Anzac Activities

Today we baked anzac biscuits, made a lego scene and some poppies and a cross to remember our Great Great Uncle Walter Watson and all the others who went to war for our country.

  1. What a lovely way to remember you Great Great Uncle, Anameka. This is exactly what Anzac day is about, doing things that help us remember those who went to war for our countries (New Zealand and Australia). Do you know much about your Great Great Uncle?

  2. I am glad to hear that you are finding out about those related to you like your Great Great Uncle Walter Watson. My grandfather went to the second world war and we remembered him during Anzac day this past weekend. We also made poppies, but I think your Lego display is fantastic and that you also made Anzac biscuits. Do you know if your Great Great Uncle had any medals from his war time?
